The Plan
|
The plan is simple. “If you want change. Change leaders.”
We are getting a new President why not get a new Congress
as well. With the approval rating of Congress at an all
time low, now is the time for change, real change.
Political science is a science. It is by no means an
exact science however. Whenever people are involved
there will never be an exact science unless something
happens that takes away
that essence of humanity that makes life so
interesting. This year people are extremely upset
about two issues. These issues are the damage Illegal
Aliens are doing and the damage being caused by the
high price of gas. Among political scientists issues
are considered one of the weaker criteria of the
strength of a candidate. The intense reactions of
people strongly indicate that this is the year for a
new chapter to be added to the political science
books. The media is trying to divert attention away
from these issues to protect their friends in
Washington. Are we going to let them get away with
it?
The main goal is to identify incumbents that can be
targeted for early retirement. To do this we must find
incumbents that are vulnerable with credible candidates
running against them. The tables below list incumbents
with “D” and “F” grades on immigration. A quick glance
at the tables shows that there are mainly Democrats
listed.
At first it was thought that NumbersUSA might be biased.
An indication the ratings are valid is that if you Google
the incumbent’s name followed by a comma and illegal
immigration (name, illegal immigration) you usually get
plenty of information to back up the rating. The links
in the tables are to web pages with more details to
evaluate if the challengers have a chance against these
incumbents. Some of the entries have different background
colors. The background colors indicate the following:
Turquoise – The challenger has best chance of an
upset. Volunteer or donate.
Orange – The challenger has better than average chance
of an upset
Red – Special case. Read comments in comments

The following is a link to a ten-minute video on forms
of government. It shows that ours is the best form that
has been devised so far for keeping a ruling class from
evolving. Unfortunately there is no form that can keep
a ruling class from evolving without intervention from
the people being governed. Changes can be made to make
the amount of intervention less frequent. As stated
elsewhere there is no need even talking about
improvements and changes until “We the People” get
rid of the ruling class that we have now. The vast
majority of the leaders we have now have proven
themselves to be poor leaders and few of the many
changes needed will be accomplished until
they are gone.
